updated my web browser of choice (Firefox) the other day and it was running a bit slow. So I started poking around in the preferences and found this little check box under the privacy settings.
Since Firefox 4 the do not track feature has existed, but now it’s front and center and easily found by everyone. Why the change?
“Do Not Track” legislation has been on the table since 2010, however there are only a number of proposed bills with nothing written into law, yet. However browser makers aren’t taking any chances.
