This weekend I brought the sidebar back to my blog. In this post I give the full explanation as to why. And it's probably not for the reasons that you think.

After all the hubbub I caused removing the sidebars from the blog and then reporting the results of the removal you might be surprised to see them back. Not only are they back but I moved the blog theme from the Genesis framework to Headway.
Now let me explain why all the changes.
